Trademarks
Mongolia is a “first to file” jurisdiction. Registration is required to establish exclusive rights in a trademark.

In October 2024, we filed a civil court injunction lawsuit in a trademark infringement case. The first instance civil court of Bayanzurkh district accepted our lawsuit without requiring prior administrative injunction actions by the IP Office of Mongolia.
